Maxwell Dance Teacher Spotlight – Andrea
Our first Maxwell Dance Studio teacher spotlight is Miss Andrea! She started dancing when she was just three years old. She actually did gymnastics from 10-13 years old but ultimately went back to dancing. She was on the Copper Hills High School drill team throughout high school and took multiple other dance classes there as well. Her favorite style of dance is lyrical!
When she was little, she wanted to be a nurse or doctor PLUS a dance teacher or an Olympic gymnast. Turns out, she got pretty close with those dreams! Not only does she teach dance and tumbling, she also works at a breast care center as a mammo and radiology tech.
Miss Andrea met her husband in high school, but they didn’t talk until college. So cute! They have been married for five years and have a son, a dog, and a baby girl on the way. In her spare time, she really loves to read, exercise, go out to eat, hang out with her family and friends, and travel when she can. Something you may not know about her is that she was born in Guatemala, and she speaks some Spanish.
