Maxwell Dance Teacher Spotlight – Julie
Maxwell Dance Teacher Spotlight – Miss Julie is our next spotlight! She is the most recent addition to our teacher lineup, and we love her! She started dancing when she was 12 years old. In high school, she spent two years on the West Jordan High School drill team. She also joined the SLCC dance company for one year in college. She dances lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary, and has been teaching for over 15 years. Her very favorite styles of dance are jazz and musical theater!
When Julie was younger, she wanted to be an optometrist. Way cool! As well as working at Maxwell Dance Studio teaching dance, she also works full time as the back office manager at Salt Lake Retina.
Julie went to high school with her husband, but they didn’t meet until later when they started talking on Facebook. They have now been married for 10 years in May! They have two cute kiddos: a girl and a boy.
Fun facts about Julie: she loves elephants, the tv shows Friends and Seinfeld, is obsessed with Mario Brothers, and loves the color green! She also collects Funko Pops and different kinds of socks. Her hobbies are watching movies, putting Legos together, and spending time with family and friends.
